Brewing Craft Beer in the First International Dark Sky Place Since 2014
GREETINGS, EARTHLINGS! Dark Sky Brewing Company was launched by Larami and Ryan Sandlin in 2014 — Flagstaff locals, NAU Alumni, proud Husky parents, and craft beer lovers. Initially, our plan for DSB was unassuming with the vision of a small two thousand square foot coffee shop-style brewery that would be pouring a humble six pints an hour… And brewing 100 different beers in our first year!
DSB FANS HAD MORE GALACTIC PLANS FOR US, THOUGH... Within the first two weeks of opening, Dark Sky Brewing sold out of beer entirely and had to take the next two weeks to rebuild the inventory!
Dark Sky Brewing Company makes a lot more beer these days with two main brewing locations in Flagstaff producing anything from IPAs to Lagers to barrel aged sours, stouts and barleywines. We proudly offer five main Beers in Orbit that make their way across the great state of Arizona and into Colorado. Check out our beer locator to find a DSB beer near you.
BEER & FOOD CREATIVELY HAND CRAFTED IN DOWNTOWN FLAGSTAFF, ARIZONA. Throughout our journey since 2014, we’ve expanded multiple times and we now have our two distinct downtown Flagstaff beer destinations located adjacent to one another.
Our new 21+ Beer Garden on Birch Street serves up eats from Atmosphere Kitchen, and our original family-friendly taproom on Beaver Street serves up wood-fired pizza from Pizzicletta.
Between the two locations, we have 40 craft beer taps on one Dark Sky City corner and offer an ever-rotating craft beer menu.
DARK SKY, BRIGHT WORLD. Named in honor of its home in the world's first International Dark Sky Place, Dark Sky Brewing is crafting a beer selection that is as unique and beautiful as every star, meteor, and comet we can see while stargazing from our beautiful backyard.
We’re committed to making our home a better place by giving back, so we founded The Dark Sky Community nonprofit organization to serve as a launching base to raise more funds and awareness for Arizona nonprofit organizations.
