From 8:00 a.m. – 12:00 p.m., May through October, this dynamic market is located in the heart of downtown at City Hall parking lot, 211 W. Aspen Avenue. This farmers market is a lively gathering spot for locals and visitors alike! You’ll feel an electrifying buzz as you pass the threshold into the market space. Music and laughter fill the air, while colorful flowers, juices, and veggies adorn stalls where vendors and peddlers sling their goods. Smiling faces are everywhere as people mill around shopping, eating, and visiting. The market is a feast for the eyes as well as the belly! Late summer brings the unmistakable aroma of freshly roasted chilis filling the air. If you’re lucky, you may see “Olive” the black potbellied pig wandering around the market.

Community Market Crowd in Flagstaff

Among locals’ favorites are the abundant fresh fruits and veggies that flow with the seasons, and many harvested that morning! Regulars cherish the special relationships they develop with individual farmers, whether from small urban farms or larger orchards with acreage. Big hits at the market always include fresh-cut flowers, local honey, CBD products, salsas, and handmade tamales -- eat them hot or take some home!

On-the-spot eats include sweet and savory crepes, hot burritos, seasonal quiche, street tacos, coffee drinks, refreshing local flavor-inspired popsicles like prickly pear. One of the biggest hits on hot summer days is the vibrantly flavored (and looking!) juices.
