Route 66 Preservation Project

This is a multi-dimensional project that preserved 700 feet of historic Route 66 and re-purposed it as a part of the Flagstaff Urban Trail System. A shade structure and rest area in the style of historic rest stops and other roadside architecture was constructed along with artistic bicycle racks. The installation includes locations for public art and interpretive signage.
