Guided by experienced lactation counselors, this class offers a community focused on support, connection, and empowerment for new and expecting parents. Learn about: What to expect when feeding a newborn The benefits of human milk Your baby’s feeding cues and how to tell your baby is getting enough milk Proper latch and positions for effective feeding How to receive further lactation and breastfeeding support Lactation Class for New & Expecting Parents is free, and you do not have to be a patient of North Country HealthCare to attend. Classes are held on the 2nd Thursday of every month, from 5:30 – 6:30 PM, at the North Country HealthCare OB/GYN Clinic Community room, located at 2920 N 4th St, Flagstaff, AZ.
