Movie Night: Last Holiday

Join us the 3rd Tuesday of each month for a movie!

In December, we'll be taking a break from our more serious discussions to view the charming comedy, Last Holiday. Popcorn, hot cocoa, and marshmallows will be provided! Georgia Byrd works at a New Orleans department store and leads a life of unfulfilled desires. She cooks gourmet meals but eats Lean Cuisine, silently pines for a co-worker, and has never left Louisiana. All that changes when a CT Scan discloses a tumor in her brain. With only weeks to live, she cashes her savings and heads to in the Czech Republic. There, she lives the life of her dreams, but unwittingly comes to the attention of a famous chef and a slew of the hotel's rich and powerful American guests. With her nothing-to-lose attitude and kind-hearted spirit, she ends up changing the lives of those around her.
