Christopher Lopez's (SUNDIVER CA) unmistakable brand of dreamy-psych-rock was born out of Inland Empire DIY shows and raw soundcloud demos. In 2020, the track "Soundtrack for your Backseat" exploded on social media, and thus, garnered routine editorial playlisting, tens of millions of rotations, and propelled his debut self-produced album Superstar Baby to a worldwide audience. This encouraged the band to embark on a 30+ date headline tour across the west, including stops at UMS and Zona Festival. Once donning arrays of keyboards and sample pads to backyard shows, the DIY spirit of sundiver ca is still strong, as their long-awaited sophomore album is on the horizon. Marlon Funaki is a 23-year-old solo artist from California who writes, creates, and mixes all his music. His powerful vocals and unique blend of alternative rock with jazzy, psychedelic guitar riffs create an electrifying yet calming live performance.
